Hello, my name is Yisha

You might be wondering about the origin of the name One-Sha. It is as unique as my name seems. In fact, it is a literal translation of my name (Yi-Sha, 一莎)! You see, even before I was born, my mother had high hopes for me and wanted me to be number one in everything… so she put the number one in my name. Therefore, I am the one, the only, Sha. One-Sha.

I’m a Chinese-born Texan living it up in the big D (Dallas). Traveling and eating are my two passions in life right after ensuring my cat is living her best life. I work remotely in the IT field so you will find some scattered musings about working remotely amidst my travel and food posts.

As someone who loves taking the road less traveled by, I love curating my own unique adventures to include more than just the usual tourist attractions (and of course food).
